Pioneer, do NOT Idolize the Promise
When we grow weary, it often reveals that somewhere in our heart we have become offended at God.
We start believing for something, and when it does not happen in our timing, our trust begins to fade.
But God never called us to idolize His promise. He called us to trust the God of the promise.
When we fix our eyes on Him, our heart posture shifts from offense to patience.
We begin to see that the waiting is not punishment. It is preparation.
As our trust grows, so does our capacity to carry the promise.
God can release it to us knowing that its fulfillment will lead to deeper faithfulness, not pride or idolatry.
Due season comes when we trust Him expectantly without offense.
That kind of trust opens the “suddenly” when God moves miraculously.
It opens the kairos timing of Heaven because we are no longer bound to the chronos passing of time.
This is the difference between an immature son and a mature son.
The immature son believes God for outcomes. The mature son trusts God through process.
“And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.” (Galatians 6:9 NKJV)
P.S. I wrote Becoming Sons of God to help you become a mature son who trusts God through the ups & downs of this life and comes out on the other side, stronger, wiser, and more in love with Jesus than ever before.
